As an LGBTQ Photographer, it is my goal to authentically capture the love stories of couples from all backgrounds, regardless of what their love or story may look like. All love is equal, and deserves to be celebrated fully!

ADVENTURE

I am passionate about nature and the outdoors, and believe in embracing adventure and spontaneity. I will climb that mountain with you, jump into that lake with you, or play under the rain with you!

I believe it’s in these moments of letting go and embracing adventure that we can be the most free and creative to capture emotive photos that tell a deeper story.

Hi! I’m David, a Denver based photographer specializing in couples photography.

Growing up, I spent many years believing I would never be able to love authentically, or find the kind of loving relationship that I have today.

Through the experience of falling in love, my passion in photography quickly developed into a passion for capturing the intimacy, love, and connection between two people in love.

As a photographer today, my goal is to celebrate the love stories of couples from all backgrounds, and to help craft unique and intentional experiences that enable couples to love and celebrate unapologetically.

Booked my adventure engagement shoot with David in Colorado. Loved both the output/pictures and the experience of working with him. He made the process extremely collaborative and worked with us to find the perfect locations and shots . We must’ve traveled over 700 miles to get the sunset and sunrise shots we wanted at two different locations in Colorado (separate cars so no privacy issue). He did his research to find the perfect viewpoints and angles before hand so we could maximize our photo sessions.

The end pictures were amazing as well! We love them, and so does all of our family and friends. So many unique photos with different emotions, angles, perspectives, and lighting. I absolutely love them and am super glad we went with Silk & Thorn for this .”
