Engagement Session at the Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado
When Zaid and Urooj found the opportunity to travel to Colorado from Canada, they decided to take advantage of the amazing Colorado landscapes and have their engagement photos taken.
In order to take advantage of the diverse lansdcapes Colorado has to offer, we split their engagement session over two days. The first part was shot during sunset at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. You can view those images here.
The second part of their engagement session took place the following morning during sunrise at the Great Sand Dunes.
The Great Sand Dunes were at the top of Zaid and Urooj’s list, and we were more than happy to travel there to meet them. We arrived to the park while it was still dark, and made our way up to the sand dunes to wait for dawn to begin shooting. This was an exciting experience, seeing how the movement of the sun quickly transformed the landscape and warmed the cold sand between our toes.
We would venture to say that the Great Sand Dunes are among the most unique locations in the beautiful state of Colorado, and we look forward to the day we can experience it again.
