For their fourth wedding anniversary, Mario & Angie decided to travel to Aspen Colorado and celebrate with a unique adventure. They renewed their vows surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Maroon Bells, which were made even more magical by the gold colored foliage of the aspen trees. Fall was definitely a good time of the year to travel here and witness this fleeting pop of color.
We spent the entire drive up to the mountains admiring the changing leave colors, and in anticipation of seeing the Maroon Bells as they slowly revealing themselves behind the trees. The evening quickly turned to night, and we were left almost in complete darkness, but satisfied with the experience.
The following are some of the words they exchanged with each other. Some pop culture references, others song lyrics, but all things that connect them.
“You are the ‘I Love You’ to my ‘I know”
“I love you as much as Peter Parker loves Mary Jane”
“If I could find assurance to leave you behind, I know my better half would fade”
“I solemnly swear to rub your feet, so long as you protect me from spiders”
“I promise to compliment your hair everyday”
The Maroon Bells in Aspen Colorado are definitely a beautiful and unique place to visit, and also make for a great location for couples thinking about eloping.
